The flowers may be anemones with poplars in the background. The rim is painted in dark green. The backstamp and impressed number of 34 seem to indicate that the plate dates from 1934.I bought this in a little antique shop in Block Arcade many years ago for Max's birthday one year, but I think I liked it more than he did.
